Newer technology and design make them smaller, more attractive (you can get colors!), and more comfortable. Again, you will have dietary restrictions. You can also have stainless steel braces coated with 24-karat gold if you want to show off some bling. 
3. Damon® Brackets – These braces utilize a technology that permits the wire to slide laterally within the bracket. This increases comfort, allows for easier adjustments, and often reduces treatment time.
4. Lingual Braces – These are metal braces that are installed on the backs of teeth, making them not visible. Some people have trouble with speech, but they adjust to it quickly.

Of course, Invisalign alignment trays are always an option too. Using a system of computer-designed clear alignment trays, your teeth are gently shifted into the correct position. Invisalign has been very successful in treating many alignment problems quickly. Because the trays are clear, these are nearly invisible.
